Project Description

Designed for Cake International 2014, ‘Juliet’ is an intricate design which took over 100 hours to complete.  The cake body is made of faux tiers to facilitate easier transport – at 7-levels, the cake would weigh around 40kg if it were real!  It features hundreds of flowers, each with their own sugar dragee centres and a complex curved sugar cage with a floral design.  After traveling to Birmingham, the cake was awarded a ‘Gold’ medal, meaning that it scored over 90% of the available marks awarded by the judges.
