Project Description

Charlotte Spring is a delicate yet grand 5-tier wedding cake based on one of our previous display cakes.  Each tier is covered in a layer of ivory fondant before being brushed with edible ivory lustre.  The bases of each tier are finished with a luxurious satin ribbon, white lace and hand-piped details.  The focal point of the design is the two trailing sprigs of hand made delicate cherry blossoms, representing the cherry trees in Japan under which the Bride and Groom got engaged.  The entire design was placed atop our ivory cake stand and set in a beautiful marquee overlooking the Wiltshire countryside.
